A 1960s California ranch home reimagined for modern family living. The renovation centered on reworking the home’s layout, relocating the dining room beside the back doors to frame garden views and strengthen indoor/outdoor connections.

What was once a screened porch became the new dining room. The ceiling was clad in teak timber, with minimal lighting selected to preserve uninterrupted views of the pool.

The kitchen was modernized and simplified including removal of an indoor charcoal grill, finished with durable natural materials of oak, marble, and stone.

Natural materials and a quiet palette establish a calm foundation while collected furniture and layered details bring warmth and character to a lively home shared with two young children and a dog.
